How to Unhide "Locked" Hidden Folders in your Computer or USB DRiVE?

One of the most common problems today in our society is a "VIRUS". TagaLipaAre, funnyustscandal, etc is an example. Yet, we have always a solution for this, which is antiviruses. But how about the files that have been affected already? How can they be recovered?

One in particular effect of viruses is the Hidden Folders. Some of you may think that the folders are deleted once the viruses are deleted by the system. Some may delete it, but in most cases, it is just hidden from our view. But in some cases, when we can see the hidden folders, the "hidden" property of the folder is locked and cannot be undone. How can we solve this?

It is really simple...

But first, we must enable the hidden file viewing of a computer...

1. Go to the Control Panel
2. Click Classic View from the Left Panel
3. Select the "Folder Options" from the right
4. Go to the "view" tab
5. Scroll down and look for 'Hidden Files and Folders" and select "Show Hidden Files and Folders".

after that is done, we can now see our files... Now, how can we unhide it?

1. right click the folder and go to "Properties"
2. Look at the bottom of the window, where the attributes can be seen (Read-Only, Hidden, archive).
3. if the "hidden" attribute is checked then uncheck it, then click apply...

But wait, the hidden Attribute property is locked... how can we now fix it?

1. Go to Start, then click run...
2. type "cmd" without quotes...
3. The Command Prompt will open... Type "attrib -h -r -s" (w/o qutes) and the path of the hidden folder.
4. Enter!! and check the folder.. it is now unhidden...

Example..

In cmd:

attrib -h -r -s G:\Psalms Files

this will unhide my folder...

TIP!!!

After typing the attrib -h -r -s in the command prompt, just drag your folder into the command prompt window and it will automatically type the folders location...
