Typhoon Ondoy
September 26, 2009, a huge catastrophe struck the larger part of Luzon, Typhoon Ondoy came into the country and struck many families with its wrath. Floods aroused at many parts of the country, dams overflowing, cars and people stranded, houses drowned, people missing.
The damage Ondoy has left the country is very devastating indeed. After September 26, Ondoy left many families in the Southern Luzon down and depressed for this typhoon damaged most of their belongings and worst, taken their loved ones.
I was in our house at Cavite on Saturday (September 27), when it came. Water was rushing fast into our home. Luckily, we were fast enough to rescue our electronic gadgets at our first floor and also our neighbors who dont have their 2nd floors built. It was a stressful week yet also a fulfilling one. Me and my family (together with our dogs and rabbits) had the opportunity to BOND again and spend this dreadful time with each other, we had the opportunity to HELP other people, and we had the opportunity to talk to God again.
After stressful days of getting water and cleaning the house (with no electricity) we are almost done. But what came to our attention, when electricity came up, and almost tore our hearts is the dreadful situations of many families scattered throughout southern Luzon (Pampanga, Marikina, Rizal, Manila, etc).
Please pray and help the families which was broken by Ondoy.
