What are dreamcatchers...?
Dreamcatchers, a very simple yet powerful tool in preventing nightmares. For years this art has influenced almost all the countries. There are many legends told from various countries regarding the existence of this native American artifact. Almost anywhere (except ours).
I had never heard stories of dreamcathers around here in the Philippines. Apparently, if i heard something, it will be just an exaggerated and an unimaginable one. Filipinos tend to overact and over exaggerate(over?!) stories and things almost about anything just to be noticed. (Well, that's my blood!)
There are a couple of dreamcatchers sold in DV (Divisoria), and its good. I mean the design is good, the materials (i think) is steady. Im just a bit surprised that its not that eye-catching to the Filipinos. I think that its really meant only for dreams and not for eyes...
Anyway, the fact is that DreamCatchers are a great artifact (if you believe) for avoiding bad dreams. How does that thingy work? Well, as you can see above, the dreamcatcher is made with a web of special strings ("special" means secret, no clue), carefully patterned to make a little hole in the middle. It is said that when you sleep (of course!?) only good dreams pass through that itsy bitsy hole in the middle and bad dreams are caught in the strings and can never be dreamed again.
It is a great tool for dreamers out there. So if you want one, you could go and FIND one (DV if you like), or MAKE one yourself!!
